Dental Implants

Our dental implant services restore the natural appearance of your smile while preserving tooth-supporting bone left behind after tooth loss. Dental implants consist of three parts that work together to offer teeth-replacement solutions for long-term security, comfort, and function. Whether you have missing teeth or are looking for a more durable alternative to dentures, there are different types of implants that may be right for you.

How Does it Work?

Our experienced staff will discuss your personalized goals and treatment plan during the initial consultation. Some patients will be required to undergo prerequisite procedures, including gum treatments or tooth extraction, before undergoing the implant procedure.

Dental implants are placed during routine dental procedures and patients often report minor pain and relatively short recovery periods. The first surgical procedure begins with the placement of one or more implant posts that are surgically fused with the jawbone to create a stable base. Once the affected gums are healed, a second outpatient procedure will take place in which a connector, otherwise known as the abutment, acts a screw to secure the tooth-like crown of the implant into the original post.

Post-Surgery Care

The length of the recovery period varies per patient and may involve face swelling and minor pain. Ongoing self-care at home must include standard brushing, flossing, and dental visits to protect the implants and ensure lifelong placement. Our implants are made from high-quality materials that look and feel like your natural teeth and will conveniently provide full chewing and biting power for the long term.

At All Smiles Dentistry, we offer exceptional implant dentistry services that support long-term oral health and give our patients the confidence to share their natural-looking smiles for a lifetime. Contact us today to schedule a consultation or to learn more about our dental implant services.
